grey (they/them) is a white, genderqueer therapist, breathwork facilitator, INELDA-trained death doula, and activist living in Oakland, CA, working in both The Bay Area and New York City. Their work is informed by many influences — primary of which is their life-long connection to the natural world and their involvement in liberation movements. In their over 10 years of experience they have provided case work, mental health care, and harm reduction services to people experiencing chronic street homelessness, queer & trans youth, queer immigrants, people living with HIV, people struggling with addiction, artists, frontline activists, and many intersections of these groups. Their approach to their healing work is collaborative, integrative, and firmly rooted in social justice. They believe that collective change is inextricably tied to personal change. grey feels most alive and embodied when they are in water, engaged in artistic practices, moving with others toward collective liberation, and when they have their hands in dirt.
